We can help

Our Solutions

  • Oral Appliances: Oral appliances are custom-built mouthpieces that help to keep your airway open and prevent the tissues from collapsing during sleep. We offer a variety of choice for high-quality, comfortable appliances tailored to your individual needs.
  • Lifestyle Changes: Making simple changes in lifestyle such as losing weight, quitting smoking, and avoiding alcohol and sleeping pills can have a positive impact on sleep apnea symptoms in many people. Eating healthy foods before bedtime is also important to help maintain a healthy body weight.
  • Positional Therapy: If you sleep on your back, gravity can cause your throat muscles and tongue to relax and block your airway. Positional therapy encourages you to sleep in positions that do not worsen the condition.
  • Combination therapy: In some cases, CPAP intolerance may be due to the high pressures required to treat sever sleep apnea. By using a combination of oral appliance terapy and CPAP, patients can use much lower preasures to increase comfort.

Though rare, in some severe cases, or when other treatments are not successful in reducing symptoms, surgery may be considered as an option. Our doctors can discuss with you the available surgical procedures, such as maxillomandibular advancement (MMA), and help you decide if it's right for you.

At Brookside Sleep Wellness, we understand that every patient is unique and has different needs when it comes to managing their sleep apnea. We strive to provide individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s specific needs and lifestyle.
